Terms of Service

  • FirstAnswer estimates how visible a business is to AI assistants. Scores are estimates — we can't guarantee any AI will recommend you.
  • You can cancel anytime, and our liability is limited to what you've actually paid us.
  • Don't abuse the service (scraping, hammering the API, attacking other users' data) and we'll get along fine.

The service

FirstAnswer measures how visible a business is when people ask AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok) for recommendations. It produces a 0–100 Answer Score, a breakdown across five dimensions, and a prioritized list of suggested fixes. Logged-in users can track businesses and watch scores over time.

Your account

You need a valid email address to create an account, and you're responsible for keeping your password safe. One person per account, please. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, reset your password immediately or contact us.

Plans and pricing

Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page at the time you sign up. Prices may change in the future; if they do, we'll tell you before any change affects what you pay, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Scores are estimates

Answer Scores are produced by querying AI systems we don't control and analyzing their responses. They are estimates of visibility, not guarantees. We make no promise that following our recommendations will get your business named, cited or recommended by any AI system, or that it will produce any specific business result. AI platforms change constantly and their answers vary.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service; don't scrape it; don't use it to harass or defame anyone; don't try to access other users' data. We rate-limit the scoring API to keep it fast and fair for everyone, and we may suspend accounts that abuse it.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime — just email us and we'll close the account. Cancellation stops future billing; data deletion works as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on a score.
